We’ll essentially spend every weekend lounging by the pool now that summer is here. And it seems that we’re not the only ones who are eager to spend time outside. Even after his owner reminded him that he was most definitely not supposed to be swimming without permission, a Golden Retriever on TikTok was obviously unwilling to get out of the water. Whoops! Not sorry, sorry.
His mother Kimberly Clark (@kimberlyclark78) caught Duke red-handed on TikTok. Duke may be seen in the video floating around in the water as Clark eventually approaches. She can be heard from behind the camera saying, “Are you supposed to be in the pool Duke?” She said, “Did mama say you could go in the pool?” After that, Clark tries to get Duke to leave the water, but Duke has other ideas. Duke eventually began to blatantly disregard his mother, and to be honest, we kind of don’t blame him. While his owner tries to direct him, observe how he glides away. Too amusing!
People were hysterical in the comments section. “He resisted and then floated away. Far too much” Keldog1970 left a comment. @aphroditemajesty jokingly said, “The way he backs up and swims away is so human-like. He probably doesn’t pay too much attention to what his mother says! Teased by @mamabear 87. He may still be in the pool, according to rumors, @mjtumlison joked.
Clark might, unfortunately, experience some issues with her dog this summer. Duke doesn’t appear to be able to leave that pool at all. Simply watch the second video on Clark’s page, which features Duke swimming once more.
