Working out is rarely enjoyable. At the very least for a good many of us, it is never enjoyable; rather, it is just something that we have to put up with because we enjoy eating too much. However, working out with dogs is usually a smart idea because these four-legged friends are wonderful at keeping you motivated to move about and get your heart rate up.

The St. Joseph High School cross-country team had a wonderful time spending the day with a group of adoptable canines from the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter. The group concluded that it would be exciting to extend an invitation to them to participate in their early workout. Before beginning a race that lasted many miles, every runner was given a dog to run alongside them. After that, the massive gang tore off in a hurry, and it was entertaining for anyone they passed to see the dogs having pleasure for themselves.

The head coach of the squad, Luis Escobar, posted a message on his Facebook page that read, “I am not sure who was more delighted and having the most fun, the kids or the dogs.” In any case, I had a lot of fun, and I do not doubt that we will do something similar soon.
What a fantastic suggestion. Who else believes that more high school sports teams ought to look into partnering up with the animal shelters in their communities?
