Jolene, Aaron Morris’ assistance dog, and he are inseparable. Morris has mental health issues, so his adoring Pit Bull is always there to console him. Morris is distraught and lost without Jolene.
His biggest nightmare came true one day. His car, which had his phone, meds, and Jolene, was stolen! All of his other stolen items, on the other hand, appeared minor compared to the canine. He only wanted Jolene back, and he didn’t care what he had to do to get her. Without his service dog to cheer him up, he wasn’t himself. Fortunately, their separation was brief.

Morris went into the petrol station and left his car running. During this time, a man approached the automobile and glanced at it before walking away. Morris then drove across the street to the Dollar General, followed by the suspect in his automobile. When Morris rushed inside, the suspect took his car and fled with some of his valuables. Sadly, Jolene was gone.
Morris became anxious without his meds and his devoted service dog. Jolene was usually able to cheer him up in such situations. Morris’ sister tried to console him, but she claimed he wasn’t acting himself and that he wouldn’t eat until Jolene was found.

“I’m not sure if she’s eating,” Morris added. “When she gets home, I’ll eat.”
The man and his vehicle were seen on security cameras. The thief has yet to be apprehended, but anyone with information should contact the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina.
Someone discovered Jolene wandering the streets a few days after the incident. They surrendered her to Tennessee’s Morristown Hamblen Humane Society. Staff at the shelter attempted to call the number on her tags, but no one responded since Morris’ phone had been taken. The shelter, on the other hand, did not give up. They knew someone was hunting for this sweet puppy, so they used Facebook to track down Jolene’s family.

Someone on social media was able to bring Jolene and Morris back together. The Pit Bull rushed over to her human and smothered him in kisses, which were captured on film by the shelter. Their lives are once again whole.
Officials are still on the hunt for Morris’ vehicle, but he doesn’t seem bothered. To him, the only thing that matters is that Jolene is safe. Items can be replaced, but dogs are members of the family.
