The heartwarming story of Agatha and Jukebox, two stray pit bulls who had been down on their luck for two distinct causes, was given by Pima Animal Care Center in Tuscon, Arizona. Agatha’s family had surrendered her, and Jukebox had wandered into the shelter.

Jukebox, one-year-old, and Agatha, two years old, sniffed each other in the play yard shortly after they arrived and became fast friends. Because no one had arrived to adopt either of the dogs, they became inseparable after a few months; they even shared a kennel and slept in one small bed.

As a result, the workers at the shelter realized that the only decent thing to do for the two dogs was to put them up for adoption together, but it would be a tall order. Even if they were sweet and kind, how many families would be interested in adopting a pair of pit bulls… Simply looking at two pit bulls might be scary.

They waited, but only until Agatha and Jukebox’s predicament became widely publicized. The two nappings and cuddling together touched hearts all around the world, and applications to adopt them jointly began pouring into the shelter quickly.
The two have since settled in with their human parents, Erin and Ubaldo, and continue to bring love to their family. And today, due to the Pima Animal Care Center, the staff, animal lovers, and, of course, their family, they have everything – each other and tons of love to go with them as they live their lives to the fullest.
