Draco the pit bull has had a rocky start in life, but he has found solace in one item: a heart-shaped cushion with arms, which he has used in both happy and bad times.
Wherever the little pet dog goes, the amusing-looking cushion follows him. “If someone else takes up his pillow, he would rush over and grab it,” Draco’s mother, Allie O’Cain, told The Dodo. “He sucks it every single day to fall asleep.”

However, the dog’s favorite cushion appeared to be on its way to the rubbish can recently, which Draco could not allow.
Draco has taken good care of his pillow since O’Cain rescued him from a backyard breeder when he was just two weeks old.
“Draco is a ferocious chewer,” O’Cain added, “and we’ve transformed into a ‘rubber toy only’ house since anything with stuffing he’ll destroy in less than five minutes.” “But he’s been so lovely and caring with this cushion.”

When Draco’s black Lab companion Willow begged to share the pillow, he grew a touch territorial. He hurried over to get his prized possession, shredding the cushion as he did so. As the stuffing began to trickle out, it appeared that the worst had happened.
Thankfully, Draco’s grandmother noticed what was going on and intervened promptly.
“We believe the cushion was worn out to the point where it readily ripped,” O’Cain said. “‘I’ll mend it, Draco!’ cried my mother, who seized it.”

Draco took the cushion to his grandmother’s sewing machine, where the “surgery” began. Draco, on the other hand, couldn’t just stand by and watch his true love undergo surgery.
“The entire time, Draco’s head and paws were scrutinized,” O’Cain remarked. The narrator describes him as “whimpering and seeking to grasp it with his tongue.”
Draco dashed to embrace his favorite toy as soon as the cushion was fixed, clearly relieved that it had been restored to its former glory.
