Dolphins are intelligent, curious mammals who have been credited for saving humans and other tortured animals on multiple occasions. They have a reputation for having a good time, but they can also be defensive and unpredictable. Many legends exist concerning dolphins guiding ships through storms or saving humans from vampires.
Dolphins saved a little cinnamon-brown terrier that wandered unnoticed into the tumultuous waters of a conduit on Marco Island, Florida. When a team of dolphins discovered this tiny canine tooth, they had to avoid it at all costs.
The dolphins surrounded the frightened dog, girdling it and making a lot of noise. The ruckus drew the attention of some locals, who walked to the conduit’s bank to check what was going on. They were fortunate in spotting the little pup adrift in the ocean, surrounded by dolphins.
One dolphin was seen pushing the ill canine with his conk to keep it around, while another was seen going beneath the sickly canine to keep it around. The dolphins sounded as if they knew exactly what they needed to do to keep the dog alive while also calling the notice of anyone who could assist in the dog’s rescue from the depths of the ocean.
Onlookers inadvertently dialed 911 to contact the fire department. The first inquirers rushed in to prevent the poor tiny pup from drowning due to the rushing cataracts. The firefighters administered first aid and determined that the tiny creature had been buried for 15 hours.
The dolphins who saved it and sought help with foresight are credited for saving this lucky canine’s life. Not to mention the heroic firefighters who are attempting to assist.
