We’ve been taught that being envious of others isn’t a good thing. We attempt to stay away from it, but if we’re being honest, we’d all act like this golden pet that didn’t hide his true feelings.
Sterling is the name of this lovely puppy. He’s the only furry member of the family. Tyler and Bailey, his two human brothers, whom he adores with all his heart.

Because the feelings are mutual, Sterling couldn’t understand why he was left out whenever his siblings’ girlfriends came to visit. They’d all hug, and Sterling couldn’t stop himself from moving to separate them. The ladies were most likely attempting to separate the pet from his brothers.
Jose, no way. Sterling was not going down without a fight, so he would get between his brothers and their girlfriends whenever he saw them canoodling.

That was a wise decision on your part, doggo. We’ll never be able to replace you, but we understand why you feel that way. Isn’t it true that brothers come first before everyone else?
That’s the code, and your human brothers are well aware of it. They’re only making fun of you since they know how you’ll react.
We have to admit that your jealous outbursts are amusing, and while we don’t encourage you to feel that way, we understand. We have to applaud your perseverance. Despite your brothers’ attempts to bother you, we hope you know how much you are loved and appreciated.

We, humans, prefer to feel needed, which is why we hug so much while you’re present. You won’t get it, but we hope you appreciate how important you are.
We thought it was hilarious that you were also envious of a cushion. Relax, Mom wouldn’t trade you for anything else in the world. One of these days, we’d like to see you perform a trick on your brothers!
