In a series of charming videos, a little dachshund has become an internet star by balancing a variety of objects on his head.
Paul Lavery, 29, had no idea when he brought Harlso into his Belfast home that the dachshund had a secret gift. Five years later, Harlso has established himself as an Internet celebrity, winning a 2019 Webby Award for his achievements.

It shows him balancing a globe, macarons, and even a glass sand timer on his head without losing his balance or dropping anything.
In the videos, the adorable hound wears a variety of clothes, including spotty, glittery, and love-heart-adorned bowties, as well as a bib with other sausage dogs on it.

‘Harlso joined our family when he was four months old,’ Paul recalled. Jen, my fiancée, had always desired a Dachshund since she was a child. Harlso was intended to be kept by the breeder, but he was eventually sold.
‘It was love at first sight for Jen when she saw him!’
Despite Harlso’s incredible abilities, Paul does not claim to know the best technique to train dogs.

‘We were playing one day when Harlso was two years old, and I tried to balance a toy on his head, and he accomplished it!’ he added. It came as a surprise because it was pretty much his sole trick. It was probably a hidden talent.
‘Harlso is capable of balancing practically anything as long as it isn’t harmful or too heavy. ‘People ask me how to train a dog from time to time, but I have no idea how Harlso does it.’ ‘He gets 99 percent of things right the first time!’

Harlso has over 91,000 Instagram followers, and fans praised him once he hit 2,000 Twitter followers in 2016, which he celebrated by balancing a cupcake on his head.
He’s also on the list of ‘Amazing Animals’ in the Guinness World Records.
