Every time we hear about a dog found in poor condition on the streets, we think he was either abandoned willingly or never had a family in the first place, but this story is a little different from the normal stray dog stories we’ve heard.
“Happy Animals” ( “аслив тваpини”) Ukraine animal rescuers discovered a stray dog on the streets in awful conditions, malnourished and covered in mange. They knew this canine had been through hell.
Even though her life was not pleasant, the dog had a welcoming demeanor, much to their amazement.
The shelter posted a photo of the dog on social media in the hopes of finding him a loving home and someone to look after her.
Following the viral news, the shelter received a call from an upset woman who said the photo canine was her long-lost dog, who had been taken from her two years prior and for whom she had been searching all this time.
They planned for her to visit the shelter the next day, and to their amazement, the dog turned out to be the long-lost canine that the unfortunate woman had been seeking for.
The woman said the dog’s name was Lady, and the happy reunion occurred the instant she sniffed her owner’s hand. Shelter captured their wonderful reunion with tears in their eyes.
