Some dogs spend their entire lives facing the darkness and dangers of the streets, never believing that the sun will shine for them. However, as the old phrase goes, one should never give up hope.
For eleven long years, a poor dog was abandoned and walked the streets of Los Angeles since he was a small puppy, fighting to survive on those harsh streets.
He grew accustomed to life without a home or care, but when his physical condition worsened and he became ill, he was no longer able to fight for existence on those perilous roads.
So he began looking for someone to assist him, and he found himself on a stranger’s porch, where he napped.
When the dog was discovered, the house owner was overjoyed, and instead of evicting him, she welcomed him inside her home until further assistance arrived.
The dog was given the name Solovino, which means “He arrived alone” in Spanish.
The woman who needed their help to find the old sick dog a home contacted San Francisco’s Rocked Dog Rescue.
Carol, who is a tremendous Star Wars enthusiast, heard about Solovino’s story and became immediately bonded to the dog. She decided to call our large guy Solo.
Carol was so moved by this story that she decided to adopt more senior dogs and provide them with the attention and affection that they so desperately need.
